How to find your SPEAR Candidate ID?
You should have received an email containing your unique ID. The email will be sent from info@sovereignminds.org.uk with the subject line:

Where can the SPEAR Candidate ID be used?
Your SPEAR Candidate ID can be used to evidence your participation in the SPEAR Oratory Prize Competition in academic or professional applications, including UCAS.
For example: “I strengthened my public-speaking confidence and showcased solution-focused thinking on global challenges through my participation in the Sovereign Minds SPEAR Oratory Prize Competition (SPEAR Candidate ID: XXXXX).”
Your SPEAR Candidate ID enables universities or organisations to verify your participation in the competition. The SPEAR Candidate ID will only work for you if our records show you delivered your speech at the official ‘Qualifiers’ on Saturday 31st January, 2026. Until you attend and complete your qualifier speech, your SPEAR Candidate ID will remain unverified.

Please Note
- Your SPEAR Candidate ID becomes valid and eligible for external verification only once you have participated in the ‘Qualifiers’.
- If our records indicate that you did not perform your speech on Saturday 31st January 2026, we will not be able to verify your participation in the Competition to any external body or organisation.
